Have completed another small part of our geophysical survey of the Bredon Hill landscape. We looked at (mag.) a small potential henge monument in Cropthorne and continued our exploration of the Roman/Iron landscape around Bredons Norton (again with mag.)

The results were pretty good though take a keen eye to interpret! We are looking to do some more around the start of June so will keep you posted. Pictures to follow shortly!

The penultimate day’s digging. Everythings finnishing off well. All the trenches have produced excellent results and the weather has stayed with us, just! Big thanks to Current Archaeology magazine for their visit online piece. Watched a great game of rugby last night and now for the pub!

Sorry guys, not on site today, have had to drive back for lectures. However will be back on site and basking in the sunshine tomorrow, whey!!!

Another super days achaeology and tour of the Roman baths last night. Each trench is now producing fantastic archaeololgy and the sun is still out. Now for a bbq and a few beers, of course!
